Soothe and Strengthen: Back Care for Dentists and Dental Hygienists

Date & time TBA

Recently my dentist mentioned that he suffers from chronic back pain, and I realized this is an occupational hazard for dentists and their assistants, as they lean over us in the chair. This session, based on a Viniyoga sequence endorsed by an NIH study, is my way of giving back to the people who take care of our smiles.

Sleep Better, Feel Great

Date & time TBA

I spend enough years suffering from insomnia that I understand how it feels to rise in the morning feeling weary and already looking forward to bedtime. I've experienced how sleep-poverty dulls reaction time, makes the whole day a little harder, less bright, less joyful. The cumulative effect of running on empty create dangerous levels of stress, affect the quality of the decisions you are making, and cause you to miss opportunities A sound night's sleep, night after night, takes you in the opposite direction. You might be amazed at who you are, on a good night's sleep.
